We collect only what we need to run the service. We don't sell your data. We don't use ads. Source videos are auto-purged after 7 days.

How We Use Your Data
- To provide the clipping, captioning, and publishing service
- To process payments and manage your subscription

Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate:
- Cloudflare R2 — file storage
- Groq / LLM providers — transcription and analysis (audio/text processed transiently)
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email
- YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X APIs — publishing (only when you connect and direct)
Third-Party Voices
When you upload recordings of other people (e.g., podcast guests), you are responsible for having the right to process their data. We act on your instructions for that content.
Your Rights
Under POPIA, GDPR, and other applicable laws, you have the right to:
- Access & export: request a copy of your personal information
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: request deletion of your personal information
- Object: object to processing of your personal information
- Portability: receive your data in a portable format (GDPR)

Information Officer (POPIA)

Cross-Border Transfers
Your data may be processed on servers located outside South Africa (currently in the EU). This transfer is permitted under POPIA section 72 because the recipient country provides an adequate level of data protection. Where GDPR applies, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
